Don Crawley - Boulders Golf Academy Instructor
Crawley2.jpgA Class A member of both the British and United States PGA, Donald Crawley has more than 30 years of teaching experience. He was ranked by Golf Magazine as one of the Top 100 Teachers in America and by Golf Digest as one of the Best Teachers in Arizona, and recently was named by his peers as the PGA Southwest Section “Teacher of the Year.”

Donald Crawley’s strong diagnostic skills enable him to quickly identify problems and make instruction simple. After watching a few shots, he diagnoses not only the ball flight and contact at impact, but also the golfer’s learning style. The diagnosis takes only five minutes, allowing plenty of time for the individualized correction process.

“It’s a matter of adjusting what they do,” Crawley says, “instead of reinventing their swing.” He works with golfers to fine tune their strengths, helping them “feel the correction and see it on tape. It’s like going to the doctor; you have to see how they swing and apply the correct medicine.”
